As our hotel guest, by booking your stay with us you are agreeing to abide by all of our terms, conditions, and procedures. They are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understanding between The Archway and the guest.
Below are our general Terms & Conditions. Our policies may change, so please check back often:
Direct bookings and “Jurny App” bookings:
• The guest’s credit card is charged for 100% of the stay at the time of booking.
• If the guest cancels more than a week in advance a 100% refund applies. It may take up to 7 days for the refund to reflect on the guest’s credit card.
• If the guest cancels less than 1 week to 1 day prior to arrival, they will be refunded 50% of the overall bill.
• If the guest makes a cancellation 24 hours prior to check-in, no refund applies.
Each guest will go through a verification process and a security deposit may be required up to $500 at the time of booking. If no reported violation or damages is found after check-out, the deposit will be refunded and takes 7 days to reflect on the guest’s credit card.
ID verification process:
For the safety & security of all guests & the property, the Archway requires all guests to complete the I.D. verification process which requires the guest to share a photo ID and confirm that the personal information submitted by the guest corresponds with their real identity. The name attached to the payment method used to book must match the guest ID.
The Archway has no on-site concierge, personnel, or night staff. Prior to your arrival, you will be provided with an access code for the front door and for your suite.
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
Early Arrivals and Late Departures:
Early check-in and late check-out may be added to your reservation for an additional fee of $50 each. In case an early arrival or late departure is not available, the Archway will notify the guest in advance and provide a full refund of the fee. If the guest checks out beyond 11 AM without prior approval, the guest will be subject to a $200 fee. If the guest booked a late departure but checks out beyond 2 PM, the guest will be subject to a $200 fee.
Early check-in: 2:00 PM
Late check-out: 1:00 PM
We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor, room location, extra towels, etc. prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate them. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.
General Policies + House Rules
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the hotel, the Archway reserves the right to request that the guest vacate their room without a refund.
Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
The City of Philadelphia and the Archway strictly enforce a 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM quiet hour. Please be respectful to those around you while enjoying your visit with us. Amplified sound is not allowed. This includes loud music, DJs, or amplified voices. Any complaint made by another guest or neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fine between $500 to $2,000. Strictly Enforced – should guest(s) violate the quiet hour policy it will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.
Maximum of 2 overnight guests per 1-bedroom suite, and 4 overnight guests per 2-bedroom suite. An occupancy fee can be incurred if violated.
Outside visitors are allowed outside of quiet hours, upon approval from the Archway. Visitors are not allowed without prior approval- failure to inform the Archway may result in a fee. At any given time, the maximum number of guests is the following:
- 1-Bedrooms – no more than 4 guests
- 2-Bedrooms – no more than 8 guests
The minimum age required to check into the Archway is 21 years of age. All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Up to two children, 12 years of age and under may stay in their parent’s or guardian’s room at no additional charge.
No Party Policy:
The Archway enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests and property. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should a guest violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without a refund and a violation fee.
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on the property without prior approval from the Archway. Any unauthorized use of images of the Archway or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000. For a complete list of Photography Terms and Conditions, visit here.
Mail and Packages:
Due to no on-site staff or concierge, the Archway cannot accept any on-site mail or packages for our short-term guests. Long-term guests (30 days +) may make special arrangements for incoming mail & packages, however, the Archway is not liable for any missing or damaged items.
Your safety and privacy are important to us. All in-suite devices are non-visual; however, common areas may have video surveillance. There are NO cameras or recording devices inside our suites. If you have any questions about our suites and technology, please don’t hesitate to contact our Guest Experience Team.
The Archway is a 3-story walkup. Suite 101 – Pier, located on the ground floor, is handicap accessible.
The Archway does not have a storage room and luggage cannot be stored at the hotel prior to check-in or after check out. The Archway is not liable for any missing or damaged items.
Parking is available onsite for an additional nightly fee — M-Thurs: $50/nt & F-Sun: $60/nt. A link for reserving parking & location details will be available in your confirmation email or please reach out to the Archway team to reserve. Please note that each spot requires payment. Availability is limited & rates are subject to change. Unauthorized vehicles are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
Parking is also available a block away on 1320 N. Front Street at Park America. Prices may vary. Free street parking is also available.
We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in and after check-out. With 24-hour notice, specific additional cleaning service is available for an additional fee and can be requested by texting 888-875-8769 or emailing [email protected]
Amenity Refill & Refresh Frequency:
Amenities are refilled and refreshed prior to check-in and after check-out, depending on usage. 1 set of complimentary amenities is provided to both long & short-term guests. For a full list of these amenities refer to the In-Suite Amenities & Features below. With 24-hour notice, additional refill & refresh service is available for an additional fee and can be requested by texting 888-875-8769 or emailing [email protected]
Trash & Recycling:
For short-term guests’ waste and recycling may be disposed of in the dedicated kitchen cabinet and bathroom trash receptacle within a suite. For overflow trash and recycling removal from your suite, especially for long-term guests, you may dispose of bagged trash & recycling in the refuse room located down the north stairwell on the ground floor marked “Trash & Recycling”.

The Archway is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made from hotels guests will result in a fee of up to $1,000. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars, and candle burning.
Upon special request, certain pets are welcome at the Archway in unit 101 – Pier, for a fee. Please contact us for approval & arrangements prior to your stay. The guest authorizes Archway to charge the cost of possible repair, damage or loss of items resulting from a pet on the property. If prior permission for a pet on the property is violated, a $1000 fee will be charged.
We appreciate you utilizing the complimentary coasters when setting drinks down on surfaces other than the kitchen counter.
Live Plants Note:
The Archway features some live plants to create a home-like setting. For short-term guests, we ask that you avoid watering the plants as they are on a watering schedule and serviced by our housekeeping staff. For long-term guests please follow these instructions: water plant every 7-12 days and only water plant when soil is completely dry to the touch.
Furniture and Room Furnishings:
The Archway is fully furnished and embellished with artwork, books, and décor. All furniture, furnishings, décor, and kitchenware must be returned to their original placement prior to checking out. Items cannot be removed or moved to another suite. Violations will result in a fee. For long term guests, any additional wall hangings or penetrations must be approved prior to installation and are otherwise forbidden. Violations will result in a fee.
Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning:
Upon booking, we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond the normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest’s stay. The guest authorizes the Archway to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls, and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, artwork, décor, kitchenware, etc.
