We are thrilled to have you and your family as our guest! As it has always been, the health & safety of our guests and team members remains our highest priority. We are doing everything we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility as the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve.

The following Terms & Conditions have been established based on industry standards, operational procedures in addition to AHLA and CDC guidelines.

As our hotel guest, by booking your stay with us you are agreeing to abide by all of our terms, conditions, and procedures.  They are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between The Arch and the guest.

Health & Hygiene: We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Our cleaning crew thoroughly cleans all surfaces with anti-bacterial cleaning products, and during this time we have instructed them to pay special attention to the “high-touch” areas – particularly doorknobs, remotes, handles, etc. in addition to the following:

  • Our cleaning process is extremely –this includes not only cleaning but after all items are clean, fully disinfecting the rooms.
  • Once the rooms are cleaned, only absolutely necessary staff will enter the room, it will be closed to all other parties.
  • Rooms may only be accessed by current guests only. Outside visitors are not allowed during this time.

 

Housekeeping Frequency:

We provide a full housekeeping service prior to check-in and after check-out. With 24-hour notice, specific additional cleaning service is available for an additional fee and can be requested by texting +1 (267) -692-8131 or emailing [email protected]

Amenity Refill & Refresh Frequency:

Amenities are refilled and refreshed prior to check-in and after check-out, depending on usage. 1 set of complimentary amenities is provided to both long & short-term guests. Trash & Recycling:

For short-term guests’ waste and recycling may be disposed of in the dedicated kitchen cabinet and bathroom trash receptacle within a suite. For overflow trash and recycling removal from your suite, especially for long-term guests, you may dispose of bagged trash & recycling in the refuse room located down the north stairwell on the ground floor marked “Trash & Recycling”. Additional recycling containers are also located within the second and third floor hallways.

Appliance instructions & manuals are located on your TV under the Hotel Details button.

100% Smoke-Free:

The Archway is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind. Any evidence of smoking in the guest’s room or complaints made from hotels guests will result in a fee of up to $1,000. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning.

Pet Policy:

Upon special request, certain pets are welcome at the Archway in unit 101 for a fee. Please contact us for approval & arrangements prior to your stay. The guest authorizes Archway to charge the cost of possible repair, damage or loss of items resulting from a pet on the property. If prior permission for a pet on the property is violated, a $1000 fee will be charged.

Surface Maintenance:

We appreciate you utilizing the complimentary coasters when setting drinks down on surfaces other than the kitchen counter.

Live Plants Note:

The Archway features some live plants to create a home-like setting. For short-term guests we ask that you avoid watering the plants as they are on a watering schedule and serviced by our housekeeping staff. For long-term guests please follow these instructions: water plant every 7-12 days and only water plant when soil is completely dry to the touch.

Furniture and Room Furnishings:

The Archway is fully furnished and embellished with artwork, books and décor. All furniture, furnishings, décor and kitchenware must be returned to their original placement prior to checking out. Items cannot be removed or moved to another suite. Violations will result in a fee. For long term guests, any additional wall hangings or penetrations must be approved prior to installation and are otherwise forbidden. Violations will result in a fee.

Damage, Missing Items & Excessive Cleaning:

Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages and excessive cleanings beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest’s stay. The guest authorizes the Archway to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, artwork, décor, kitchenware, etc.

Booking Policies


Reservations:

Reservations are held with a credit card and charged a $1.00 deposit at the time of booking. 7 days prior to your arrival 50% of the balance is charged and the remaining balance is charged upon the day of your arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your arrival are non-refundable. Credit cards will be authorized the day of check-in for incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds of $X amount until the day of your departure, at which time the amount actually incurred during your stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take 7 days to be released by your bank and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. A credit card is the only accepted form of payment.

Cancellation Policy & Travel Flexibility: We have made additional adjustments to our modification and cancellation policies to provide you with maximum flexibility while travel remains restricted in many parts of the world.

  • Reservations at the Archway can be changed or cancelled at no charge, up to 3 days prior the arrival date.
  • Guests who change or cancel their existing reservations within the non-cancellation period need to substantiate that they’re sick or unable to travel in order to receive a full refund.
  • The Archway will honor any travel advisories should they come into place and refund accordingly.
  • Should The Archway location temporarily close, all guests will be fully refunded.

Check-In Policy:

The Archway has no on-site concierge, personnel or night staff. Prior to your arrival you will be provided with an access code for the front door and for your suite.

Check-in: 3:00 PM

Check-out: 11:00 AM

Early Arrivals and Late Departures:

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, early check-ins and late check-outs cannot be arranged at this time. If the guest checks out beyond 11 AM without prior approval, the guest will be subject to a $200 fee.

Special Requests:

We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor, room location, extra towels, etc. prior to your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

General Policies + House Rules

Hotel Rights:

Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the hotel, the Archway reserves the right to request that the guest vacate their room without refund.

Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM

The City of Philadelphia and the Archway strictly enforce a 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM quiet hour. Please be respectful to those around you while enjoying your visit with us. Amplified sound is not allowed. This includes loud music, DJ’s or amplified voices. Any complaint made by another guest or neighbor may result in immediate eviction and a fine between $500 to $2,000. Strictly Enforced – should guest(s) violate the quiet hour policy it will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.

Occupancy:

Maximum of 2 overnight guests per 1-bedroom suite, and 4 overnight guests per 2-bedroom suite. No visitors during this time. An occupancy fee can be incurred if violated.

Age Policy
The minimum age required to check into the Archway is 21 years of age. All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Up to two children 12 years of age and under may stay in their parent’s or guardian’s room at no additional charge.

No Party Policy:

The Archway enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of all hotel guests and property.  Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guest violate this policy, a violation will result in immediate eviction from the hotel without refund and a violation fee.

Photography:

Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from the Archway. Any unauthorized use of images of the Archway or its contents is strictly prohibited and will result in a fee of up to $1,000. Mail and Packages
Due to no on-site staff or concierge, the Archway cannot accept any on-site mail or packages for our short-term guests. Long-term guests (30 days +) may make special arrangements for incoming mail & packages, however the Archway is not liable for any missing or damaged items.

Security Surveillance:
For guest safety and security, the Archway has 24/7 monitored audio and visual security surveillance in the Lobby and common hallway areas.

Accessibility:

The Archway is a 3-story walkup. Suite 101 – Pier, located on the ground floor, is handicap accessible.

Luggage:

Luggage cannot be stored by the Archway and is not liable for any missing or damaged items.

Parking:

Parking is available onsite for an additional daily fee of $25. Park America (1320 N Front St, a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel) for overnight parking. $20/night on weekdays, and $25/night on weekends. No in and out privileges. Rates can vary. Payment handled independently on location. Free street parking is also available.
